Hooya Electronics is a high-tech enterprise focused on the research and production of electronic switches, sockets, and connectors, dedicated to customized services for electronic switches and connector modules. After twenty years of innovative development, it has three factories in Dongguan Shijie and Chenzhou, Hunan, as well as four well-known brands: HOOYA, LEGION, YSC, and ROCKTEK.

Hooya Electronics is located in Shijie Town, Dongguan City, an electronics hub, currently using a high-standard factory building of 25,000 square meters with over 500 employees. The factory includes mold production workshops, injection molding workshops, hardware workshops, assembly workshops, and an automation center, capable of independent product development and production, as well as high-precision mold design, research, and manufacturing, undertaking customer mold manufacturing orders.

The company has multiple professional engineers and has built an industry-leading reliability laboratory and UL laboratory, equipped with complete testing equipment to simulate client usage environments for various professional tests, providing technical support for customer product design. We have accumulated years of R&D knowledge and market experience. Besides our own products, we also welcome customers to co-design products, offering more customized product solutions and providing OEM & ODM services.

The company's products are widely used in electronic communications, network digital, kitchen and bathroom appliances, multimedia audio-visual equipment, intelligent security systems, instruments and meters, beauty medical equipment, smart home, intelligent robots, computer peripherals, and industrial control equipment. After years of integrated development, the company has a complete range of product categories and certifications; advanced production and inspection equipment including high and low voltage load safety laboratory equipment, energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (ROHS tester), plating film thickness tester, terminal cross-section analyzer; over 200 professional production devices such as fully automatic assembly machines, current conduction inspection machines, fully automatic terminal crimping and wire cutting machines, automatic glue dispensing machines, wave soldering machines, fully meeting customers' large-volume, multi-faceted, high-quality product order demands.

Hooya has established a sound quality control system, successively obtaining ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949 and other certification systems, implementing strict full product inspection to ensure product quality. It has passed UL, KC, NEMKO, CQC, CCC, VDE, ENEC, TUV, CB and other certifications, and has been honored with titles such as "Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise" and "High-tech Enterprise."

Development History

2004

Formally registered: Hooya (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Dongguan Hooya Electronics Co., Ltd. are engaged in the development and production of DC power sockets, earphone sockets, electronic switches and other products, and were one of the first to introduce ERP management systems in the industry

2006

Set up a production and assembly factory in Liaobu Town, the factory has passed ISO9001: 2000 quality management system certification and fully compliance with the EU ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE directives.

2011

The factory was moved to Sicun Village, Shijie Town, adding precision mold development and manufacturing workshop, an injection molding workshop, and a metal stamping workshop. The products are fully compliance with ROHS, WEEE and REACH requirements.

2014

Acquired Legion Electronic Co., Ltd. (founded in 1993 in Taiwan) and Dongguan Legion Electronic & Hardware Co., Ltd, brought in a series of products such as rocker switches, rotary switches, and slide switches.

2015

Legion Electronics acquired RockTek Electronics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., brought in more AC sockets, micro switches, overload protectors and more AC switches.

2016

Migrated the Shenzhen production line of RockTek to Dongguan production and merged with Legion Electronic.

2017

Hooya Group acquired Yat Shun Electronic Co., Ltd. and its China mainland factory Dongguan YSC Electronic Co., Ltd. . This acquisition is helpful for Hooya Group in stepping into the top supply chain in the switch field and accessing the market to international cutting-edge customers and adding more product customization solutions.

2018

The workshop in Chenzhou, Hunan Province was officially put into production. The current monthly output of Hunan workshop reaches 9 million units, the maximum production capacity is expected to exceed 20 million units.

2022

Hooya Group awarded the honorary title of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises and high-tech enterprises. The upgrade of Hooya Group's production base was completed by the end of 2022, which fully promotes the gurantee of high-quality products&services and the company growth in the industrial supply chain.

Precision Workshop

Hooya's factory has mold production workshop,injection workshop,hardware workshop,assembly workshop,automation assembly,with the ability to independently develop and produce products,as well as the ability of products' design & research and develop,and also able to manufacture high-precision molds and fulfill customers' mold manufacturing orders.
