Development History

2004

Formally registered: Hooya (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Dongguan Hooya Electronics Co., Ltd. are engaged in the development and production of DC power sockets, earphone sockets, electronic switches and other products, and were one of the first to introduce ERP management systems in the industry

2006

Set up a production and assembly factory in Liaobu Town, the factory has passed ISO9001: 2000 quality management system certification and fully compliance with the EU ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE directives.

2011

The factory was moved to Sicun Village, Shijie Town, adding precision mold development and manufacturing workshop, an injection molding workshop, and a metal stamping workshop. The products are fully compliance with ROHS, WEEE and REACH requirements.

2014

Acquired Legion Electronic Co., Ltd. (founded in 1993 in Taiwan) and Dongguan Legion Electronic & Hardware Co., Ltd, brought in a series of products such as rocker switches, rotary switches, and slide switches.

2015

Legion Electronics acquired RockTek Electronics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., brought in more AC sockets, micro switches, overload protectors and more AC switches.

2016

Migrated the Shenzhen production line of RockTek to Dongguan production and merged with Legion Electronic.

2017

Hooya Group acquired Yat Shun Electronic Co., Ltd. and its China mainland factory Dongguan YSC Electronic Co., Ltd. . This acquisition is helpful for Hooya Group in stepping into the top supply chain in the switch field and accessing the market to international cutting-edge customers and adding more product customization solutions.

2018

The workshop in Chenzhou, Hunan Province was officially put into production. The current monthly output of Hunan workshop reaches 9 million units, the maximum production capacity is expected to exceed 20 million units.

2022

Hooya Group awarded the honorary title of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises and high-tech enterprises. The upgrade of Hooya Group's production base was completed by the end of 2022, which fully promotes the gurantee of high-quality products&services and the company growth in the industrial supply chain.
