1. Use Chemicals with Caution

The toggle switch base plate uses synthetic resins such as polycarbonate, so the potentiometer should be kept away from strong atmospheres of chemicals like ammonia, amines, alkaline solutions, sulfides, ketones, esters, halogenated hydrocarbons, etc.

2. Use Flux with Caution

When soldering, avoid using water-soluble flux, as it can adversely affect the metals and other materials that make up the toggle switch.

3. Soldering

Wiring design and soldering methods should avoid causing molten solder to flow onto the PC board surface, as this can lead to poor contact.

4. Low Temperature Operation

When the product is used in low-temperature environments, such as car radios or car audio systems in cold regions, our company provides products with comfortable tactile feel according to customer requirements. Please specify this when ordering.

5. Slider Length

The shorter the length, the better (at least 5mm). With the slider width A unchanged, the shorter the slider length, the better the tactile feel; conversely, the higher the force application point, the worse the tactile feel.

6. Drive Arm

Never let the operation point be far from the slider centerline. For the same reason, the shorter the distance B between them, the better.
